Saw that Brendan snagged a third place in the senior mens last night. Must have been quite a contrast from the Mt. Hood Stage Race a week ago. Nice job! I'm hoping to do at least one of these if the hip cooperates.

I'm feeling better today. Still need the crutches to hobble around, but I can now navigate the stairs pretty well, which is a big plus. Downloaded the Garmin, and it looks like I was going about 26 mph when I hit the deck. Ouch!

Great shots, KRhea! I see you got one of me with my torn-up jersey and bandages too. Linda, I'm doing ok. I think I strained some ligaments in my hip joint, so I'm hobbling around using crutches, but I could be in a lot worse shape.

Thanks for the well wishes, guys. I think there is something to keeping moving, as it really wants to stiffen up if I spend too much time on the couch watching ESPN. I'm pretty pathetic today, hobbling around the house on my crutches, but I'm going to keep it up and get the rain bike on the trainer as soon as I can.

Well, it didn't take too long for me to end up in a crash at PIR. Coming down to the straightaway on like the fourth or fifth lap, I heard a couple of folks in front of me yell out and maybe get tangled up. Next thing I know someone clipped me from the right front, sending me left into someone else, and down I go. I think maybe 3-4 of us went ...
