    Friday after Thanksgiivng ride

I know we have the TGIF ride but any body want to do something special the day after Thanksgiving. I need to burn many calories.

Can you say "More Pie Please!"

I could be interested, although I'll be riding at a 15 pace - perhaps. There'll be the results of a lot of bad eating to drag up the hills!

Sounds good...  Especially if the weather is nice I am up for a ride Friday morning.  I have places to be Friday afternoon - so keep it around 40 and I am good (even at a slowed 15 pace)

I would definitely be up for a post-Turkey ride to burn off some of the 5,000 calories that I have eaten. 100 miles should do nicely! LOL. I will even put slices of pumpkin pie in my jersey pockets. :-)

Any ride would be fine. I might even hire someone else to ride it for me as I loaf around in a Friday in a mashed potato induced daze.

Where and when were you guys thinking of meeting up?  Were you thinking of meeting at some time and place other than where the TGIF ride is starting from?  I have an appointment that morning I will reschedule to make it out for another ride.

If I am not out fighting the crowds for the last single iPod in the State, I would love to ride!

Do we know if Longbottoms will be open Friday? Not that it matters, I suppose.

There was a sign on the door at Longbottom last weekend that said Closed both Thurs and Fri.

Figure most places to be either closed, or swamped on Friday. :)

OK. Well, whereever we ride, it'd better not be close to any malls! I want to come out alive. How about a ride up Dairy Creek Rd?

I won't be able to ride Friday. It turns out that I have some home maintanence projects that need doing. So, I'll be dicing with death in Home Depot! Anyway, my knee is still swollen from us riding 22 - 24MPH trying to catch the lead '19MPH' group on last Saturdays ride. :)

I would be interested in a Friday ride going out of Longbottom's. What is the expected pace of this ride?

    Re: Friday after Thanksgiivng ride

I am planning on 17-19mph, flat route, maybe with a fixie. There may be a fast group too depending on who is there.

I just noticed that Richard proposed a Dairy Creek ride (ice that knee - I always forget to!). That would be a non-fixie ride for me. It should be dry til Noon and then only a 30% chance of showers. Donovan, what do you want to do?

That pace is good for me but I can no longer make it. Got called into work since I was on call. I have never done the Dairy Creek route either so that would have been nice at the 17-19mph pace.
