Clocks set back notice on the Portland Velo home page

I notice that the Portland Velo web site home page states that the clocks are being set back tomorrow morning. Seems like someone is getting a little ahead there. I for one aren't ready for gloomy dark early evenings yet! Just cold wet ones. :)

Seems someone's a little behind on the DST patch that was issued out last year...

That was me.  I just got a bit ahead of myself.

Tell you what, if we go to standard time this weekend, can we start daylight time a week earlier next year - say the end of February? I mean, this is all arbitrary. Why not have our own little time zone? Who would notice?

We could have a "Guess what time the ride starts" Sunday.

    Mix it up a bit!

Alternatively, I could stay on summer time all year. That way, I'd get summer all year. The rest of you can have your cold wet winter...

Now, where did I put those drugs! :)
